SERVICES
At Tristream Energy, we're experts in pipeline transportation,
moving natural gas from the wellhead to market, and moving NGL's and industrial gases.
We provide a seamless solution by providing all services necessary for your projects:
- Gathering and Transmission
- Compression
- Treating
- Dehydration
- Conditioning or Processing
- Pipeline Interconnects
- Marketing and Gas Control
Additional services include:
- Natural gas liquids (NGL) transportation and storage
- Carbon dioxide (CO2) infrastructure for EOR
- Industrial gas transportation
- Biofuels transportation and storage

Gathering and Transmission: We design, build and operate the gathering system to accommodate your gas quality and pressures. All equipment and pipe specifications are tailored to your needs. Our projects can include gathering each individual well or redelivering from a central delivery point. We also have the expertise and capital to undertake long distance transmission projects to relieve pipeline bottlenecks and move your gas to better markets. Back to top
Compression: We determine the compression that is appropriate for your unique needs. By integrating compression into a centralized gathering system design, we often save cost and fuel over individual well compressors. Back to top
Treating: We treat your natural gas to meet pipeline quality specifications by removing inert or harmful substances such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide. Common treating methods include cryogenics, membranes, chemical scavengers and amine plants. Back to top
Dehydration: We will dehydrate your natural gas to remove water vapor and prevent pipeline blockages from freezing or hydrate formation. Back to top
Conditioning or Processing: To the extent your natural gas contains “heavy” hydrocarbons such as ethane, propane, butane, etc., we will condition or process the gas as appropriate. Gas “conditioning” is a low-cost operation that removes just enough heavy components to make the gas safe for consumers. Gas “processing” goes beyond this, removing virtually all heavy hydrocarbons when economical to do so. Back to top
Pipeline Interconnects: We evaluate the markets and the capacity of downstream pipelines to find the best market for your gas and the optimum transmission line interconnects. Pipeline interconnects can vary considerably in cost and complexity, depending on the transmission pipeline requirements and the volume of gas. For large volumes of gas production, multiple pipeline interconnects may be desirable to provide access to different markets and for improved operational reliability. We can handle all negotiations and logistics with the pipeline companies. Back to top
Marketing and Gas Control: We frequently provide marketing and gas control services on our systems that are connected to multiple producers. Larger packages of gas aggregated from multiple producers often command better prices and better terms. Gas control ensures that your gas is scheduled to move through the gas pipeline grid. This involves communicating with the producer and downstream pipeline(s), as well as monitoring gas flow. Back to top
