Tristream Energy’s East Texas operations primarily handle production from the Smackover formation. This formation produces natural gas rich in hydrocarbon liquids, nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide. Our facilities enable producers to profitably extract these resources, resulting in sweetened stabilized condensate, natural gas liquids, sulfur and pipeline-quality natural gas.

The source rock beneath the Smackover is the Brown Dense. One of the most important source rocks in the southeastern United States, the Brown Dense is currently being tested in Southern Arkansas and North Louisiana and is potentially productive in our operating area.
